turn A leaf thrift store is going to be giving out prizes for the best Halloween costume for five age groups. The winners will be chosen by a vote of the people on the turn A leaf Facebook page.
On Monday, October 22nd, participants come to the thrift store dressed in their winning costume and have their picture taken. The pictures will be placed on the turn A leaf Facebook page Monday morning, October 29th for people to vote. Voting concludes at 12pm on Tuesday, October 30th. Winners will be posted on Facebook and at turn A leaf thrift store by 5pm on Tuesday.
Age Categories & Prizes - One Winner Per Category:
Pre-K to Kindergarten: Prize is a $10 toy of choice or gift certificate
1st to 3rd Grade: Prize is a $15 toy of choice or gift certificate
4th to 6th Grade: Prize is a $25 toy or clothing outfit of choice or gift certificate
7th to 9th Grade: Prize is $50 worth of clothing outfits or books of choice or a gift certificate
10th Grade to Adult: Prize is a $75 gift card
Pictures of the winning costumes will be hung in turn A leaf thrift store until November 1st. turn A leaf will also be passing out candy throughout the day on Halloween: Wednesday, October 31st. Spread the word and show everyone how talented you can be one time out the year.
