In an emergency, every second counts. That is why it is crucial to have a game plan. Whether faced with home evacuation or a broken-down vehicle in the dead of winter, preparation is key for Alaskans.
Not sure where to start or how to prepare? No problem! The UAF Cooperative Extension Service is offering an Emergency Preparedness Workshop at the Matanuska Experiment Farm. Join Art Nash, UAF’s energy specialist, as he shares practical tips and ideas and offers economical ways to prepare for just about any emergency scenario. This class is a part of our UAF Centennial Celebration Series, and will be held October 19th at 6pm and is free of charge to the public.
