Laurel is an absolutely gorgeous 4 year old golden retriever/chow mix. She came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about her. She is treat motivated and knows how to sit. She’s quite engaging with people and is responsive to training.
For a 4 year old, Laurel is full of energy and would make a great dog for an outdoors-loving family. She loves to play and would probably make a good hiker too! She has been curious about other dogs at the shelter. If you have another household dog, we encourage you to bring them in and do a meet and greet to see how they may get along.
