The night was possible thanks to the staff of Burchell, including Principal Jason Marvel. Burchell opened its doors to The Jerry Wessling Band and Burchell families Friday, October 26th for a couple hours of music, food and fun! Jerry, Mary, and new-comer Pete, filled the room with a great vibe of rock, pop, and even country.
As the night carried on, two youth performers braved their fear of performing and graced the stage with their vocals. The first performance, an acapella version, filled the hall with a calm feeling and warm smiles could be seen everywhere. The second performer crushed a song I’d never heard, from the Lord of The Rings, that is now added to my playlist! As always, the youth performers were great, and I encourage everyone to come out to our next event!
