As the school year runs down each year, families begin to look forward to the Saint Herman Annual Country Fair. The delightful, fun-filled atmosphere of this fair has become a traditional summer kick-off, especially for children.

Kids love the old-fashioned carnival style games like the milk bottle throw and balloon pop, as well as the chicken fling and plinko in which they can win tokens to spend at the prize booth.  The petting zoo, relay races and bounce house are also perennial favorites.

Adults will have a great time as well shopping at the Discount Depot where you can get up to 20% off gift certificates from local businesses and the Trading Post Store, which has locally handmade items.

The special events throughout the day are always a good time with the cupcake bake-off (adult and child categories), the ultimate cake walk and pie-eating contest which are fun for all ages.

Visit with friends and neighbors while eating a gyro or handcrafted sausage from the chuck wagon and sipping an all-natural old-fashioned soda from Fizzywigs. This year’s country fair will be on Saturday, June 2nd, from 11am-3pm.
