Join Alaska WildBird Rehab Center (AWBRC) this summer for an elegant fundraising event in a uniquely special setting. Save the date on Saturday, July 14th, from 12pm to 3pm, as Snowfire Gardens off Fairview Loop Road in Wasilla hosts our Birds & Blooms event. Snowfire has received national recognition in several gardening magazines and is well-known and highly regarded by Alaskan gardeners (learn more about Snowfire’s location and see their incredible photo gallery at www.snowfiregardens.net).
Stroll through this spectacular garden setting, watch Valley artists painting birds and/or blooms on-site in a “quick draw” competition, with paintings to be auctioned at the event, enjoy live flute, violin and guitar musicians, peruse the silent auction with one-of-a-kind gifts and activities to bid on, and of course, meet and admire our ambassador owls. Lunch will be provided, and we’ll have delicious desserts to buy.
