The days are getting longer, Daylight Savings Time has begun and spring is right around the corner in the Mat-Su. It’s also time to get ready for the upcoming tennis season outdoors on the Palmer and Wasilla city courts.
Mark your calendars for April 13th, and join us to kick-off the season. We will be having our spring get together for members and potential members at the Jack White Building on Seward Meridian Drive in Wasilla on Friday, April 13th, from 5pm-7pm. Please come and find out what opportunities we provide for tennis - all levels and all ages.
At the meeting, we will get to know each other, share our history and our vision for the future, outline the activities for the season, have some snacks and give away some fun swag! Among the events for 2018 are a family play day on May 20th,Quickstart Camp for 5-11-year-olds on June 25-28, Round Robin tournaments on Thursday evenings at Palmer and Wasilla throughout June and July, Adult Flex League from June 1st-August 11th and lots of time for members and friends to get together and play tennis.
Help us build this association and continue to make tennis available to all. See you at the meeting!
