We invite you to participate in this year's Mat-Su Young Writers Conference on Saturday, April 29th. This annual event is sponsored by Mat-Su School District and strongly supported by Publication Consultants and our authors.
The Young Writers Conference is a popular, enjoyable experience. It is an opportunity to sell books, help kids and build your author platform. You will enjoy teaching students hungry to learn from a published author. Our authors have participated in this wonderful conference for more than 20 years
Class session will be 40 minutes long, consisting of a 20 minute teaching presentation and a 20 minute time for the students to practice what they have learned from you. Authors will have the opportunity to teach two or three sessions, depending on the grade level they are working with.
Participating authors will have their own table for displaying and selling their books. You will also receive a gift as a token of appreciation.
Following the conference, about noon, Publication Consultants will sponsor an author’s lunch at a local eatery. We invite all participating authors to join us.
