Spring hasn’t sprung yet, but it’s time to troll (to call out loudly) for singers and aspiring singers who wish to have their voices heard. The Mat-Su Community Chorus began their eighth Spring Concert Season rehearsals on Thursday, January 11th. The season’s theme is On the Stage. Whether you have sung opera, would like to try your voice at opera or love to sing catchy numbers from your favorite musicals, here is your opportunity to strut your stuff!
Our mission of musical ambassadors of the Valley commences when you, your friends and possibly family members participate and align in song. For the month of January, you are welcome to dust off those vocal pipes and sing with us - you may discover the enjoyment you’ve been looking for and decide to continue being part of our concerts. There is a $45.00 membership fee if you do decide to persevere.
Rehearsals are held Thursday nights, 7pm-9pm, at Wasilla High School’s choir room. Concerts are in May and will take us to Willow, Wasilla and other parts of the Valley.
