Palmer Community Foundation Is Recruiting Advisory Board Members

PRESS RELEASE from Palmer Community Foundation

Do you have energy and a passion for making Palmer an incredible place to live, work, thrive and learn? Do you enjoy talking to people about why they love living in Palmer? Do you have a few hours a month to commit to help build a legacy through an endowment fund for the Palmer area?

If you answered yes, we invite you to apply to become a volunteer advisory board member for the Palmer Community Foundation (PCF), an affiliate of The Alaska Community Foundation. We are expanding the PCF Advisory Board to include a small, but diverse group of committed individuals who are willing to share their time and talents on behalf of Palmer. Palmer area residents aged 16 and older are invited to apply.

Palmer Community Foundation fosters philanthropy by building a permanent endowment fund for the Palmer area. We work with donors to support their commitment of giving to the community. Through distributions of grant funds, PCF is building partnerships with local organizations that improve that quality of life for those who live, work, raise families or retire in the Palmer area. In addition, donors are invited to help create legacy funds that will positively impact Palmer for generations to come.

Our local advisory board, comprised of Palmer-area residents, volunteer to fulfill the mission, vision and goals of PCF. These volunteer board members know and love the community. They work to build relationships with donors and organizations to grow a lasting charitable legacy for Palmer.

If you are interested in learning more about serving on the PCF Advisory Board, please contact us or submit an application. We look forward to hearing from you. Together, we can create a lasting positive impact for this incredible place we call home.
