Who Let the Girls Out Event Returns to Palmer

14th Annual Who Let the Girls Out Event Returns to Palmer

Contributed by Denise Statz

"Who Let the Girls Out"—Downtown Palmer Merchants' tip o' the hat to spring and the promises of summer, all the great customers and clients who support small business, and the philosophy of keeping it local—is slated for Friday, April 26th, and Saturday, April 27th.

Small businesses up and down the street will host events, welcome guests, and feature their finest!

Look forward to casting a vote in the First Annual People's Choice Artisan Coffee Competition, or a chance to learn how to create a rug from scraps. Enjoy a quilt exhibit and a chance to learn a take-along quilt-making technique. Enjoy the good food Palmer has become well known for, visit with friends, take in the 8th Annual Fashion Show, and watch for chances to contribute to the local food bank and women's shelter. Learn about local efforts to preserve farmland, and get a chance to talk about your very own corner garden with a Master Gardener.

The activities and opportunities are way too numerous to list here (and people are still making plans), so follow your favorites on Facebook or go to the Who Let the Girls Out Facebook page!
