Matsu Kabayan – Filipino American Community will hold its 4rth year of Easter Egg Hunt.
Our community of egg hunters is growing. We started with 35 kids four years ago and this year we are expecting over 250 egg hunters in attendance.
This family-friendly event will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Idita Park/Wonderland Park. Check-in starts at 12 p.m. It is going to be fun no matter what the weather!
The hunt will feature over 6,000 eggs. Registration is required for all children under the age of 14, please find the QR code on the poster to register. All minors must be accompanied by an adult at the event. Each child under the age of 14 will get a raffle ticket to get a chance to win an easter basket. Only children who pre-register online are eligible for the raffle.
The Easter Bunny will be making a guest appearance so make sure you snap some photos.
Donations are welcome. We will gladly accept candies (small enough to fit in the egg) and also, and we take donations for easter basket items age appropriate <14.
We will put together six Easter baskets and all items donated will be added to the basket. You can drop off all your donations at Fruitland Wasilla until March 24. Bringing a donation at the event is also accepted as long as all are prefilled eggs. Unfortunately, we cannot accept just bags of candies.
We added a new feature this year, we will also have food trucks joining this event.
