Alaska’s Forgotten Felines

Alaska’s Forgotten Felines

Contributed by Linda von Bose

Alaska’s Forgotten Felines was created to support our feline community in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats and kittens that have been abandoned, lost, unclaimed, or left to survive without human care in Alaska. We particularly focus on community cats that are in critical need of food, housing, medical care with special attention in getting those cats spayed/neutered and into caring homes. Please join us in sustaining our mission: Centrally located in Chugiak, Alaska with all of our cats and kittens located in foster homes from Anchorage to the Matsu Valley.

All available for adoption cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, evaluated/treated for immediate medical conditions, dewormed and treated for parasites, socialized, and given their initial vaccinations (Rabies, FVRCP). Because we are dedicated to the welfare of our cats, even after they are adopted, we encourage kittens be adopted with a buddy to help avoid single kitten syndrome and to help them navigate living in a new home/environment.
