Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream Celebrates 3 Year Anniversary

Join us at Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream as we celebrate our 3 year anniversary this Memorial Day weekend! (May 24th-27th) We always have lots of exciting things happening during our birthday celebration. This year it will be double the fun with our new location (inside the clocktower) in Wasilla joining the festivities.
Friday, May 24th is our official birthday so keep an eye out on social media when the date gets closer to see the giveaways and special things we’ve got planned for the day. If you can’t make it on Friday, don’t worry too much because we like to extend our celebration to include everyone and will be doing fun things all weekend.
If you haven’t tried our Birthday Cake ice cream now is your chance because we will be bringing it back for the weekend. This is a limited edition cake-flavored ice cream with strawberry frosting swirls. It only comes around once a year, so come try it while supplies last!
Since we opened in 2021 our ice cream selection has increased tremendously. We first opened with 10 flavors and now have over 30 in rotation. We try to keep stocked with all the favorites and currently have a selection of 25 different ones on the menu
The summer ice cream lineup has also just started to hit the menus. Everyone who has been waiting for those to drop, well the wait is over! Round the Campfire (an all-around favorite) featuring a graham cracker ice cream with marshmallows and chocolate chunks mixed in, happens to be the best ice cream to go with you on a camping trip. Other favorites like Lemon Cookie and Orange Dreamsicle are our loyal citrus lovers' go-to flavors. Come visit us at our Palmer or Wasilla location to see all the other amazing (always rotating) flavors.
